Ian has more than thirty years’ experience in the spatial IT industry in consulting, solution architecture and the management of projects, large and small. Well recognised for his insight into trends in the development of the Information Technology industry and provision of sound, pragmatic advice, Ian specializes in the analysis of business requirements at a high level and translating these into effective information and technical architectures.

Over the past 10 years, Ian has focused on projects in the environmental area, including climate change.  This includes state and national projects which bring together a wealth of environmental data, including climate projections and present them in easy to use web sites, featuring maps, charts and tables.
